Personal Care
Supporting individuals with day-to-day personal care Our team provides help with washing, dressing, personal hygiene, mobility and more to help individuals remain safe and comfortable. From £28 per hour.

Domestic & Social Support
Helping individuals maintain independence and wellbeing at home through practical support and companionship. Everyday tasks such as shopping, appointments, social activities and more. From £25 per hour.

Funding Your Care
We understand that arranging care is not only an emotional decision but a financial one too. While Vernies Home Care operates as a private care provider, there may be funding options available to help support the cost of care, depending on your circumstances.
Some individuals may be eligible for support through their Local Authority or NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC). This funding is assessed and awarded directly by the relevant authority and, where approved, can be used to pay for care services with an agreed provider.
Assessment & Onboarding
To ensure every client receives safe and person-centred care, we follow a structured assessment process before care begins.
Free Initial Consultation
We begin with a free, no-obligation call to discuss needs, answer questions and determine suitability.
In-Home Assessment
One-off fee of £75 for the in-home assessment to cover professional time and care planning.
This fee will be waived for long-term contracts.
Our Care Manager will visit your home to complete:
- Needs assessment
- Risk assessment
- Medication review (if applicable)
- Environment & safety checks
- Personalised care planning
Care Plan Creation
Following the assessment, we create a person-cenetred care plan that reflects your needs, preferences, routines, and goals.
Care Begins
Once the care plan is agreed, we match carers, arrange visit times, and your care package starts.
