What is a care assessment?
A care assessment is a discussion and review of your individual needs, preferences, and health requirements. It helps us create a care plan tailored specifically to you.
Where can my care assessment take place?
Your assessment can be conducted wherever is most convenient: usually in your home, a family member’s home. Home assessments are preferred as they give the best view of your daily environment.
Who conducts the assessment?
A Registered Care Manager or senior member of our team will carry out the assessment. They have experience in evaluating care needs, safety, and support requirements.
How long does a care assessment take?
Most assessments take between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours, depending on your needs and any additional questions or planning required.
Is the care assessment free?
No. Your care assessment will be £75 with no hidden fees. This allows you to understand your options without any financial commitment. However you intital Consultation is free.
What information will I need to provide?
You may be asked about your daily routines, health conditions, medication, mobility, personal care needs, and any preferences for companionship or lifestyle support.
What happens after the assessment?
After the assessment, we create a personalised care plan and discuss the best options with you and your family. Once agreed, care can start as soon as you’re ready.

We are based in Dudley and provide care across Edgbaston, Harborne, Selly Oak.
